How LeaseLens handles your data
Your lease is a confidential document. This page explains exactly what happens to it from the moment you upload it to the moment your report arrives.
Short version: your file is processed once, the text is used to generate your report, and everything is discarded. Nothing is stored. Nothing is used for training.
The short answer
What happens to your document, step by step
Stripe handles the payment on their servers. Your card data never touches LeaseLens. After payment, you upload your PDF directly to our processing endpoint over HTTPS.
The PDF is parsed in server memory to extract text. The file is not written to disk and is not saved to any database or file storage service.
The extracted text (not the original file) is sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic's enterprise API is used under their zero data retention policy — inputs are not stored or used to train models.
The analysis output is used to generate a PDF report, which is emailed directly to you via Resend. The report is not stored on our servers after delivery.
After your report is sent, the extracted text, analysis output, and generated PDF are discarded. Nothing from your lease persists in our systems.
Third-party services we use
LeaseLens is built on a small set of infrastructure services. Here is what each one receives:
Common questions
No. The PDF is parsed in memory, never written to disk, and never saved to any file storage service. After analysis, the extracted text is also discarded.
No. LeaseLens uses Anthropic's enterprise API, which operates under a zero data retention policy. Anthropic does not store API inputs or use them for model training.
The text from your lease is processed by the Claude API to generate your report. It is not visible to LeaseLens staff, logged, or accessible after the analysis completes.
LeaseLens is designed for commercial leases, but the same data handling applies to any document. Text is processed once, used only to generate your report, and discarded. We recommend reviewing your NDA obligations before uploading any document covered by a confidentiality agreement.
We collect your email address (to deliver your report) and your payment method via Stripe. We do not collect your name, company, or any information from the lease itself beyond what is needed for the analysis.
ADIP (AI Document Integrity Protocol) is an open standard we developed for AI systems that process sensitive documents. It covers input isolation, output validation, and transparency requirements. LeaseLens is the first ADIP-certified system. You can read the full standard at /adip-certified.
ADIP Certified
LeaseLens is certified under the AI Document Integrity Protocol (ADIP v1.0), an open standard for AI systems that process sensitive documents. The standard covers input isolation, output validation, injection detection, and transparency requirements. Read the full standard and our implementation notes.
